FIREWORKS Galore!!!!!!!

I had a blast this 4th of July, and I am soo thrilled to finally be able to capture the beauty of the event! My camera setting to capture these images were:
Manual Mode, Tripod, ISO 100, F/8, ss between 4 and 6 seconds. I pressed the shutter button as the fireworks were launching and heading skyward (before the boom).
Hope these settings will help any newbies out there for their next opportunity! It really is a lot of fun!!!

Growing up fast

This past weekend I was fortunate to get to shoot 7 month old Joshua again. I last saw him as a newborn and he was one of my first sessions as I was just starting out. He is such a sweet little boy and so very happy and smiley! They really do grow up so fast, I always find myself asking "Where has the time gone?". Anyhow, Here is a sneak peak from our session, and some to look back on when he was a newborn.

I've been waiting and waiting for my little girl to be old enough to do a lollipop session, What a complete fun mess that was!! The lollipop cracked and broke after only maybe 5 minutes at the most. But we still had fun with it!! Just a few of my favs....

Just a quick play using textures and different blends. This is my little girl Rylee as she first started learning how to walk! Don't you just love that view from our backyard?

Maternity

Just wanted to share a few from a maternity session I had with a great friend of mine! Lisbeth and Gary are 35 weeks along and it won't be much longer until Miss Madelyn is here! Madelyn has been long awaited for quite some time now and I am so anxious to get the chance to meet her! Congrats Gary and Lisbeth!

Pajama Fun

I had the opportunity to shoot one of my best friend's family this past weekend. She had a lot of great ideas for family portraits and we decided to take some fun shots in their pajamas and dress the bed in all white linens! I think it turned out fantastic and it was so much fun! Thank you T for the opportunity to capture these memories!
